Mission

Our primary purpose is to provide a complete range of necessary services to people with physical and developmental disabilities of all ages, and their families without regard to the person's race, sex, and religion or ability to pay for those services.

We will seek to help people with disabilities become contributing members of the society at large, helping each individual attain his or her highest potential.

We will stay sensitive to the needs of people with disabilities and plan our services and programs accordingly, to be responsive to change among the people we serve or those we should serve.

We will continually make the public aware not only of the needs of people with disabilities, but also of their abilities and desire to become productive members of the community.

We will strive for the highest level of quality in the programs and services we provide.

We will conduct the business of management affairs of the agency in a fiscally sound manner to insure the continued integrity, existence and growth of our organization.

Code of Ethics

All employees must observe the following Code of Ethics:

  • Treat the people we serve according to the highest professional standards utilizing the best available methods and techniques.
  • The welfare of the people we serve is of paramount importance.  Regardless of provocation or circumstance, the people we serve shall not, at any time or for any reason, be treated roughly, neglected, or abused in any manner; verbally, physically, sexually, or psychologically.
  • No information relating to the people we serve or any other confidential information is to be discussed or shared with persons not concerned with such information unless approved by your immediate supervisor. 
  • Respect the rights of the people we serve, our co-workers and supervisors.
  • Employees will not engage in any activity which is not in the best interest of the people we serve, including inappropriate behavior or sexual relations while on Agency property or in the presence of the people we serve.
  • An employee's conduct must be such that it will not discredit the Agency.
  • An employee must disclose any potential or actual conflict of interest.
