Julie Krieger, Treasurer
Ms. Krieger joined the Board in 1987 and became Treasurer of the Board in 1993. She has continued to hold this position for the past 14 years. Ms. Krieger currently holds the position of Vice President & Group Manager of the Middle Market Commercial Banking Division for M&T Bank in the Hudson Valley. She is a graduate of Marist College. |
Philip W. Kirschner Mr. Kirschner joined our Board in 1988. He was elected to the position of Second Vice President in 1988, a position he continued to hold until 2001 when he was elected First Vice President. Mr. Kirchner continues to hold the position of First Vice President.Mr. Kirschner is an attorney practicing in Kingston. |
Paul Geary
Mr. Geary joined the Board in 1997. Mr. Geary was elected to the position of Secrectary in 2000 and was elected Second Vice President in 2001. A lifelong resident of Kingston and graduate of Marist College, Mr. Geary retired from 23 years of service with IBM and is the associate funeral director with Simpson- Gaus Funeral Home, Inc. |

Joseph H. Tremper
Mr. Tremper joined the Board in 1989. He became Board Secretary in 2001, a position he has continued to hold since that time. Although currently retired, Mr. Tremper enjoyed a 35 year banking career in the Hudson Valley, primarily as Senior Vice President of Key Bank South Eastern New York. |
Lewis C. Kirschner
Mr. Kirschner has served on the Board for four decades. He initially joined in 1966. He served on the Building Committee to raise funds for the Agency’s Community Rehabilitation Center. Lew is serving his ninth term as Ulster County Treasurer and prior to that served as County Legislator. Lew is very active in the community and has served on a wide variety of not for profits boards. |
Tom Rowland
Mr. Rowland joined the Board in 1999. He previously held the position of Vice President and Trust Officer of Rhinebeck National Bank and has served as a consultant in estate planning and estate administration. Mr. Rowland is currently employed by Bard College. |
Peter Rakov Mr. Rakov joined the Board in 1987. He is a retired marketing and economic development executive. His professional career included employment at IBM, EG & G Rotron and as the Executive Director of the Ulster County Development Corporation. He is an active member of Sunrise Rotary of Kingston. |
Rod P. Futerfas Mr. Futerfas is an attorney with the law firm of Wapner, Koplovitz and Futerfas and has been a UCP board member since 1980. Mr. Futerfas served on the Executive Committee of the board as First Vice President, Second Vice President and member at large. He is a practicing attorney admitted to the Bar in 1974, a graduate of the University of San Francisco and Albany Law Schools. Among his other responsibilities he presently serves as the Special Town Attorney for the Town of Woodstock and as the Town Attorney for the Towns of Rochester and Denning. |
Howard Whitaker Mr. Whitaker lives in Kingston and has been a board member since 1985. He was a former board President, served as second Vice President and was a member at large on the Executive Committee of the board. Mr. Whitaker is retired from IBM. He currently holds a position as a real estate agent for O'Connor, Kershaw Real Estate.

James McCasland Mr. McCasland is a former banker and has held various managerial positions for several companies. He has served on the UCP board since 1999. He is a current member of the Program Committee of the board. |
Donna Rocap Ms. Rocap joined the board in 2003. She formerly held positions at Fleet Bank and Sperry Cuono, Holgate and Churchill Accountants. She is currently the Associate Dean of Administration at Dutchess Community College. Ms. Rocap is on the Audit & Finance and Program Committees and is a member at large. |
John R. Shults III (A.KA. "Pete") Mr. Shults has been a UCP board member since 1985. He was a member of the Executive Committee for many years serving as First Vice President, Second Vice President and member at large. He currently serves on the Program Committee. Mr. Shults is the pastor of Cross Point Fellowship, a new community church in Hurley. Prior to becoming a pastor, he was a prominent businessman for many years in the Kingston area. Mr. Shults was the former President of Canfield's Supply, Aztec Sports and Med Care Supply to name but a few.

Frances "Linda" Reuter Ms. Reuter has been a board member since 1995. She is currently chairperson of the Program Committee of the Board of Directors. Ms. Reuter has a strong background in the hospital finance field and computer operations. She is currently retired.
