Assistive Technology Mobile Library
ALL CHILDREN LEARN AS THEY PLAY
The Assistive Technology Mobile Library is a service that is free to parents and caregivers of children enrolled in the Early Intervention System.
The Assistive Technology Mobile Library Service allows parents and caregivers the opportunity to borrow toys that can be turned on and off by a child using a variety of switches. Other aides such as positioning devices and communication devices may also be available. These toys, devices, and switches come in a variety of sizes and shapes in order to provide options for your child's individual needs and interests. Perhaps your child's therapist has used some of these toys during therapy sessions.
The Assistive Technology Mobile Library Service will be at designated sites on a monthly basis. If the location or date is not convenient, parents and caregivers have the option of visiting the TRAID Center at the Community Rehabilitation Center in order to borrow a toy from the library.
