Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County Announces Staff Promotions
Sarah Dallas has been promoted to Director of Residential Services effective Monday 3/2/15. Sarah previously served as the Assistant Residential Director since July of 2013. Prior to joining Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County Sarah served as the Residence Director at Devereux where she worked for eight years.
Since joining the Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County Sarah has worked diligently with the residential staff to improve the quality of services to the people who participate in our programs. Over Sarah’s tenure at Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County our audits have demonstratively improved, training for our front line staff has increased and the quality of our active treatment has increased as evidenced by comments from our OPWDD auditors.
Michael Nardelli has been named Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County’s first school Principal effective Monday 3/2/15. Mike holds a MA in Special Education from New York University and also holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Building and School District Administration from SUNY New Paltz. Mike returned to the school program one year ago, having served as the Education Supervisor from 6/2007 to 6/2010. Between his years working for Cerebral Palsy of Ulster he was the Instructional Specialist for the Virginia Beach School District and an Assistant Principal at the Anderson Center for Autism.
Over the last year Mike has been a major contributor to the expansion of the school program, introduction of PBIS, creation of our mascot and school colors and development of the school curriculum that satisfies the Common Core standards for New York State.
