On October 27, 2010 Ulster Hose Fire Company # 5 came to visit our CRC and gave a presentation on fire safety.  Firefighter Ed Molinaro spoke to students about who firefighters were and what they do to protect families in case of a fire.  Other members of the company demonstrated the clothing they wear to protect themselves and the equipment they use to put out fires.  The firefighters focused the discussion on the importance of safety awareness at home, at school, as well as, in the community.  Following the demonstration, each student had the opportunity to sit in the trucks, have their pictures taken, and ask questions.
